I write this as the Pacific Northwest survived another warm up. It wasn’t too bad, but it’s time for these 90 degree days to go away and we have smoke from fires in Eastern Washington and Northern Oregon that pushed in yesterday. Yellow/orange skies are not fun. It should clear today.
I was very sad to hear about Queen Elizabeth’s passing. She was an extraordinary woman and I only wish the best for the family left behind.
Not much going on with me right now, writing, and playing with the dogs. I’m trying to figure out what I need to do writing wise for the rest of the year, and then start planning out 2023. It’s so hard to believe how fast this year is going.
Tommy and Trina are doing great. They were groomed last week so Tommy actually looks like a puppy again. The terrier in him causes his hair to grow and become stiff, but when he’s groomed, his hair is soft and sleek like Trina.
As you can see in this picture it was before Tommy was groomed. All that hair. But they are little angels when they’re asleep.

I’ve been watching your weather. One thing about the Pacific NW is that it cools down at night. Love the puppy picture.
Yes, it usually does, but some nights it hasn’t gotten below 60. Hope you are doing well.
I am so glad we get nightly cooling. It helps with those hot, hot days which we seem to get more and more of. Tommy and Trina are looking adorable. And pretty pooped. 🙂

Those cute pups cettainly have a lovely life and a mom who cares. Love the photo! The Fall is here in the UK too but we are still having warm weather and thankfully plenty of rain. I’ve loved the heat, I hate being cold, and hate the fact the nights are drawing in. The sad news about our queen came as a shock to everyone, but once the pomp and circumstance is over, life moves on. It wilk bev 2023 before we know it!
