Changes

Are changes hard for you? They can be for me. I particularly hate changing back and forth from day-light-savings time. But let’s face it. Life is about change. Everyday we age, and with that comes all kinds of changes.  Especially as we get older.

Recently my son and daughter-in-law retired and moved to Arizona.  My daughter had retired last May and is now spending a lot of time down there too. I’m also finding I’m spending more time down there. A lot of change in the recent few months. So why am I maintaining a home here?

Good question and when I woke up on the 4th of this month, I called a realtor to list the house. Oh boy talk about change. The house was on the market one day. And now I’m moving.

For now everything will go into storage close to where I’m moving from. Or at least everything I might want to take down to Arizona later. As I start packing there is a lot of weighing as to if the item is worth paying to move it.

So wish me a stress free move and I’ll let you know how I am doing next month. Hopefully May 21st will see me pretty much done and close to being on my way to a more leisurely summer.

Funny because I was pondering on what to write for our blog this month. Now I feel like I need to attach “TO BE CONTINUED” to this one.

  3. It’ll be a neat change to be down there year round…Hotter for sure! LOL! Good for you for making that big decision and I am not surprised your house sold so fast. You have a beautiful home. Jillian

  4. By the time you read this you will be fully packed and on your way to your new home. Hope everything went smooth for you. We’ve missed you on Zoom and sprint and hopefully we can catch up with you soon. 🙂
