Today is Ridiculous

Jillian here. Sorry I am late. My paralegal has been out and this is the second week. She had surgery so we are muddling through doing her job and ours. It’s not been too bad….until today. Today is ridiculous. It is also her birthday and if she was here, it might just be her last one 🙂 (Joking)

As is wont to happen when she is out, I find things I thought were done and done correctly have not been. A case I already won blew up yesterday and I am still dealing with the fallout today. I have to file some response to what the other lawyer filed just to cause issues; a client called with something I thought had already been taken care of and I ended up having to go to the courthouse as well as another lawyer’s office to get something notarized since the paralegal is the only other notary here besides me. AND I can’t notarize my own signature. 🙂

You know that old saying about the “hurrier I go, the behinder I get”- well, that is me…especially today. I’m exhausted.

To bring some cheer, here is my sweet Baboo- first haircut and a day at the water park. Which is which? 🙂

Have a happy June…hoping everyone is less stressed than me!

  1. Oh my gosh, he is so adorable. And fearless. Good for him! I’m sorry your week is deconstructing, but thankfully, at work. Not work and home both. Let’s keep it that way. Better yet, pave a way through the week and start over. 🙂

    • Thanks. He’s really super cute. And a bit of a daredevil. Yeah. Home is a haven at this point. Two more days and then the weekend…..

  2. Ah those weeks when it’s two feet forward and three back. Hate to tell you but there weeks like this even when you retire.

That little guy is a real cutie. But how is he’s grown so fast? It seemed like just a few months ago he was a wee little one.

    • Dang, I was hoping for better when I retire. Lol.

And yes, the little guy is growing way too fast. It’s crazy how big he’s getting.

  3. My goodness, what a darling…I see Nonna in that first picture!

  4. What a cutie. They’re fearless at that age – heck any age. Hope work has improved for you.

  5. Oh my, he is such a cutie. Simply adore the photo at the water park. To me, it says life is for living, life is for having fun! Hope life is less stressful for you. If not, take that little guy back to the water park and have fun. 🙂

    • Thanks Kit-  he is such a joyful little guy- always has been a happy chap.  Sadly, I wasn’t at this day at the water park.  They live 450 miles from me.  BUT they are great to share pics and videos.  I wish I could see him more than I do.
