It’s November and this year it means elections here in the US. It’s been a wild ride that’s all I’m going to say.
Thanksgiving will be very different for most of us this year due to Covid-19. My family decided there will be no get-together and I actually don’t mind. I like having a quiet holiday. I have most of everything I need to make myself a nice Thanksgiving dinner and have left-overs for sandwiches.
It’s gotten down right cold here in the Pacific Northwest, I feel like we went from summer to winter in a blink of an eye. We’re barely getting out of the 40’s during the day, and at night below freezing.
Tommy and Trina don’t seem to care. They don’t mind the cold or the rain. Although some mornings they do their business and run back inside.
Starting this Saturday, Tommy and Trina start going to training for 6 weeks. I’m actually looking forward to it, because Tommy is a boy and really needs training.
Here’s a picture of the two of them together – they are good pups most of the time. Tommy does frustrate me at time because he doesn’t give me clues he needs to go outside and has an accident in the house.

Everyone enjoy the holiday’s no matter where you are.
I think a lot of people are going to appreciate a less stressful Thanksgiving for a change. Most of us will not miss the political discussions.
I agree, I will not miss the political discussions.
Ahhh I always try to get puppies in the spring so I don’t freeze my rear off with potty training. At least Tommy and Trina were a little older when you got them. Talking about cold adjusting to Olympia after Arizona is always challenge. I’ve been running the fireplace most days.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving it sounds perfect.
Yes, I bet adjusting from Arizona to Olympia is a shock to the system. Enjoy your Thanksgiving as well.
Yes, quiet holidays around here, too. Our son might join us for Thanksgiving, but that’s it. No sense taking any chances. I’m grateful for video chats, though, so I get to SEE everyone once in a while. And those puppies are soooooo adorable! I LOVE those ears. 🙂
Video chats are lifelines right now. Puppy ears – yes those ears are adorable.
I think a lot of people enjoyed a quiet holiday. Breathing space to reflect on who and what really matters in our lives. As to those two gorgeous puppies,I wish I could hug them – they are simply adorable.
Yes, I think this takes the pressure off people who don’t like entertaining and cooking. They’d love hugs from you, heck from anyone. These two are cuddle bunnies.
Oh, just look at those faces! Add me to the hug queue!
