Marie here. Sorry I missed posting yesterday. I had a busy weekend and totally forgot my day was Sunday.
Here at Casa Marie has been busy. I’m working on a new book and then to block everything out, but not my search for a new puppy and I found one.
I found her at a rescue in Texas. She will be transported to me on August 8th with other dogs. I really can’t wait to get her.
They think she’s a Chihuahua terrier mix – but she may have a little Dachshund in her. I’ve looked at pictures on Google images and I’ve seen close to my new puppy.
The rescue named her Bunny, but I’m calling her Coco. From what I read her mom belonged to an older woman who had the puppies, the older woman couldn’t take care of the puppy so she gave them to a shelter. It was high kill shelter, so the rescue stepped in and took the puppies.
I really can’t wait to get her, it’s going to be a new experience for me because I have trained a puppy in a long time, but I’m so happy. I’m trying to get as much lined up before she arrives. Crete, food, toys, etc.
Of course you know I’m going to show a picture – this is from the shelter:
She is going to be small – under 25 pounds. It’s really hard to judge how big she will be, but I’m guess small, maybe 10 to 15 pounds.
Next month I’ll start the advents of Coco.
