Happy July

Sorry I missed last month, but I have a really good reason. I had just returned from a 23 day trip to England, Scotland and Ireland.

Yes, this was a dream vacation.  I’d been wanting to do this for years and the plans came together late last year.  My sister went with me and we had an absolute wonderful time. And before you ask, I don’t have a favorite place. I loved it all.

I’ve been into England before but it was back in 1985. London has changed so much since then and I have a better understanding about people living there. Scotland has some wonderful places to visit and beautiful country.  Ireland is so beautiful and full of life.

It’s going to take me weeks of time to organize my photos and get everything in order but thought I’d share a few:

I’ll share more next month by then I should at least have them somewhat sorted.

  1. Ooohh, what a wonderful trip! I’m so excited you got to go. And you went up in the London Eye? When I was there, we didn’t have time, but I did the Seattle Eye and got a horrible case of acrophobia. Still, it’s the best way to get an overview of the London mile, isn’t it? I’ll be looking forward to seeing more pictures in the coming months. And congrats on getting to make this trip. Wow!

    • Laurie, the London Eye was fun. We were there late in the day so even though we had skip the line tickets, there wasn’t a big line. Plus we only had 10 people in our pod (rather than 25) so it was very nice. It did give us a great overview of London and I got some great pictures.

  2. I’m envious I’ve never been to any of these places. Well did London but only as far as the airport and drive out of town on the way to Dover. Will look forward to future posts. How did Penny do while you were gone?

    • Lavanda, Penny was a trooper. She loved being at the doggy hotel and being able to play every day. I’ll have to post the picture I have of her with 2 other dogs.

  3. Awesome! Some of my fav places. I’m so glad you got to go. Can’t wait to hear more adventures and see other pics! Jillian

  4. I’m so pleased you had such a fun and memorable time. Good thing you are not visiting this weekend as non-stop rain! Look forward to hearing more.

  5. Glad you had a lovely trip and trust that the weather was good while you were here. Hopefully, you caught the spell of summer we had 🙂

  6. Thrilled you had such a wonderful time. Look forward to seeing more of your photos. 🙂
