Fun Food Monday – Cake Mix Cookies

Easy, there are a variety of different ways to make these cookies. Different cake mixes, and chips or nuts allow for different tastes.

• 1 (18 ¼ once) box butter pecan cake mix
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 2 cups butterscotch chips
• ½ cup chopped pecans

Combine cake mix, oil and eggs in a bowl and mix well. Stir in chips and nuts.

Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degree’s for 8-10 minutes.

Let cookies stand on sheet for two minutes, then cool on rack.

  1. Sound wonderful, Lavada

And so easy to make, too 🙂

  2. Thanks for commenting Jan. Easy is the key word for me.

  3. Interesting recipe, Lavada. Very easy. I’ve never seen this before so will have to experiment one of these days. It reminds me of that bread recipe…what was it? Amish bread? You passed starter on and people could add any flavor pudding they wanted. 🙂

  4. I haven’t seen the Amish bread one. Sounds good though

  5. Sounds good AND easy!! Love it!
